Woods Canyon Lake – August 2012

Not much to tell for this adventure. Escaped the heat of Phoenix to a cooler climate, and a place I've never been before: Woods Canyon Lake on top of the Mogollon Rim in AZ. Went up there on a weekend so it was, unfortunately, a little crowded and noisy. Cute little mountain lake and country store though! More importantly, got to try out the new three-window tent for the first time: it's awesome! Saw a bit of wildlife: deer, bald eagles(!), squirrels, herons, chipmunks…
